Join us on the farm Feb 29th for 2 different events. Eugene from Baryo will be popping up in the Farmstand serving brunch dishes from 10-2. This is not ticketed and food is for sale until he sells out. We will be providing him with loads of produce from the farm and he will also be selling small batch pantry items. This is a great chance for you to support a local up and coming chef as well and eat delicious food from the farm. 30% of sales go back to the farm supporting local agriculture. |

Also happening on Feb 29th starting at 11 is a Pickle Making Workshop. This is a pre-sale ticketed event and will be happening down on the farm. Quick "refrigerator pickles" are one of the easiest ways to add more pop and pizzazz to your everyday meals. From tart and tangy pickled red onions to crisp and crunchy carrot-jalapeno pickles, participants will learn the basic method to make refrigerator pickles out of most veggies. You will make and take home 2 pint jars of vinegar-based refrigerator pickles. All equipment, ingredients, and recipes will be provided. Basic knife skills and different methods of pickling and preserving will be discussed.

In this workshop you will learn the basics of making a hand tied floral bouquet perfect to pop in a vase or make someone smile. Light breakfast, coffee and juice will be served. Come with your mom for an early Mother's Day gift or with your friends. Clippers and flowers are provided and you will leave with your beautiful arrangement.
