10-11 Yoga   The yoga class will be an all-levels flow class. Much of the cueing will be tailored to beginners, but with a flow-inspired sequence and a strong focus on proper alignment in these fundamental asanas, it will be an amazing refresher for you seasoned yogis, too.

This is an all-levels vinyasa flow practice built on the fundamentals. This class has a strong focus on alignment and breath and will give you the confidence you need to see that absolutely anyone can practice yoga. If you have an existing yoga practice, please join us and deepen your personal practice, exploring the subtleties and foundations of the fundamental poses. All levels welcome, some prior yoga experience suggested, but definitely not required.
  • please arrive a few minutes early to give yourself time to set up and not be rushing
  • please bring your own yoga mat and a water bottle
  • wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in
11-12:30 Brunch
Sit down brunch will be provided by Restauration using Farm Lot 59 produce and eggs. We gladly serve coffee, tea, juice and water. If you have ever been to the restaurant or any of our combined brunches you know they are delicious and amazing. Everything is harvested the day before and cooked on site in our pop-up kitchen.

This year we were able to host over 150 students! Thank you to all the teachers and students of all ages that visited us on the farm this education season. We were able to host over 150 community members and taught chicken keeping, seed starting, compost making, advanced gardening, cooking classes, native seed bombs, cool season vegetable gardening and so much more.

We love being your go to spot for all things related to gardening and farming. We look forward to expanding our offerings in 2016. If there is anything YOU are interested in learning about please email us and we will check it out. We want       to teach and share what YOU are interested in learning.  

    We still have spaces available in the 2016 school year if you are interested in scheduling a visit with us. Any       age is fine with us! We welcome garden clubs, homeschoolers, scouts, neighborhood groups, you are all             welcome here.

Urban Farmer's Andy Vaughan and Sasha Kanno will teaches you what a cool season garden really means to us in Southern California, what to plant, how to plan your garden and plantings. The difference between seeding and nursery stock, managing disease and insects and more. 

You will also make a small salad and herb garden to take home with you! 

                                               This class will give you loads of information please bring questions as well as a                                                      pen and paper. You don't want to forget any of these tips!
