We have a few dates still available for the 2015/ 2016 school year. RSVP right away!

2016 Dates: March 16th and April 13th

I'm excited to announce our farm team has added Garden Educator Andy Vaughan to our team! Andy Vaughan is a certified Master Gardeners, a graduate of the Edible Schoolyard Academy, and avid volunteer and teacher at local school gardens. As our Garden Educator his goals are to ensure that future generations are learning about organic, seasonal farming, healthy eating and environmental stewardship.

Andy also has a local business, CaliFarmer specializing in maintaining your edible garden and landscape. He found a love of edible gardening while living on a castle estate in Ireland, where they grew over 20 types of greens for salad mixes, all sorts of vegetables, and specialized in cut flowers. Now located in the South Bay, he has catered to clients from Palos Verdes to Malibu. Some of his commercial work as includes maintaining a vegetable garden at Terranea Resort’s for one of their fine dining restaurants.

We are asking for a $5 donation per person for this activity.

We are so excited for this new opportunity to share our farm with you and your students. Our hope is that all children who visit the farm become connected to their local farm and have a deeper understanding of where their food comes from.
