Help us build a shade house

Donate With Us and Help Us Grow!  Its hard to believe that we have been farming on the lot for 5 years. We have learned so much and hope that we are growing smarter and more efficiently with every season.

In our latest efforts to grow seasonally locally grown organic produce for the city we are seeking funds to build a lettuce house. We transformed our raised bed area, added shade and overhead Netafim sprinklers with huge success. This new shade house will increase our loose leaf lettuce production and keep us in the green all year long. Stay tuned for a fundraiser event. If you would like to help us jump start our fundraising click our Donate Now button to take you to Paypal.
Thank you for your continued support!

Currently we are an all volunteer organization and rely on donations, grant funding and the sale of our farm products to cover our operational costs. We have a 1-acre farm located at 2714 California Ave called Farm Lot 59. We grow food and flowers the old fashioned way using our hands, without pesticides and chemicals. We have egg laying hens for pest management and bee hives for pollination and honey production. Please spend your food dollars with us. They speak words and help us continue our work.     -See you on the farm.
