Farm Happenings

Farm Lot 59 Long Beach Local is an agriculture based official 501(c)3 non-profit organization that relies on donations, grant funding and the sale of our farm products to cover our operational costs.     We are so thankful for the rains, the lower part of Willow Spring Gulch is full of water and a family of ducks has made it home. In the 7 years we have been at the farm we've never had duck neighbors, so cool! We are looking forward to longer, warmer days and have loads of fun stuff planned at the farm. Check the calendar, stay in the loop and visit us soon!     Bee Keeping - First Sunday of the Month 11:30 Want to learn about bee keeping? Once a month we will open our hives and inspect our boxes. Come suited up and ready to learn. Everyone is welcome but you must have your own gear.     Living Classroom - March 25 Join us on the farm starting at 9 for some time in the Living Classroom. We we mulch, plant and get to know our new garden space. The Living Classroom is here because of you! This is YOUR space to come and learn about edible education, how to build, maintain your own garden or just come and enjoy it here on our farm.
