Book your field trip on our farm!

There are only 5 open dates left for you and your group to rsvp and come visit your local farm. Please RSVP right away.

2015 Dates: Oct 21, Nov 18,
2016 Dates: Jan 20, Feb 24, and May 18

We are opening up our farm once a month to welcome our Little Weeders (ages 3 to 7) or our Germinators (ages 8 to 10).  We are asking for a $5 donation per person for this activity.

We are so excited for this new opportunity to share our farm with you and your students. Our hope is that all children who visit the farm become connected to their local farm and have a deeper understanding of where their food comes from.

volunteer with us

We are seeking someone to help us coordinate field trips and open volunteer days! Do you have a few hours a week to join the farm team? We are seeking someone who is super organized to help us coordinate our field trips and open volunteer days. Without you its hard for us to be able to host groups or volunteers on the farm. We will teach you everything you need to know about working on our farm. We just need the help getting the visitors to us and help keep them safe while on the farm.

We have field trips planned and an exciting Eagle Scout build happening that could use your help! Click the button to read more and apply online!

Help us build a shade house

Donate With Us and Help Us Grow!  Its hard to believe that we have been farming on the lot for 5 years. We have learned so much and hope that we are growing smarter and more efficiently with every season.

In our latest efforts to grow seasonally locally grown organic produce for the city we are seeking funds to build a lettuce house. We transformed our raised bed area, added shade and overhead Netafim sprinklers with huge success. This new shade house will increase our loose leaf lettuce production and keep us in the green all year long. Stay tuned for a fundraiser event. If you would like to help us jump start our fundraising click our Donate Now button to take you to Paypal.
Thank you for your continued support!

Currently we are an all volunteer organization and rely on donations, grant funding and the sale of our farm products to cover our operational costs. We have a 1-acre farm located at 2714 California Ave called Farm Lot 59. We grow food and flowers the old fashioned way using our hands, without pesticides and chemicals. We have egg laying hens for pest management and bee hives for pollination and honey production. Please spend your food dollars with us. They speak words and help us continue our work.     -See you on the farm.
