Hello Farm Lot Family, COVID-19 poses unprecedented challenges and we, like all of you, are impacted. First and foremost, our concern is the health and safety of our community. In light of the recommendations from our local, state, and federal governments, we are postponing our annual EATS event. The new date is TBD and we will announce it as soon as it is set. The ticket link will remain live because the EATS event will still happen later this year. When you purchase your ticket now it helps us to plan for the future and to support our ongoing operations. At this time, we are also canceling all educational programs, service learning days and workshops through April 30th. We are still planning to host our Floral Workshop on May 3rd (ticket link below). If plans change, we will of course let you know. As an essential part of the Long Beach local food system we are will be offering a Farm Box for pick up on the farm. This mixed box is farmer’s choice and will include flowers, herbs, greens and veggies. This will be ongoing so please read the pick up information when purchasing. As you know we plant a large portion of our farm with our local chefs in mind so you can have a true farm to table experience in Long Beach. With restaurants closed or offering only limited service, we are not able to sell our produce to support our farming efforts. Please continue to support us directly by purchasing a Farm Box or donating. If you are a farm or food based business that provides a service that might benefit our farm family please email us. We all need good food to keep our immune system strong and want to be of service in this time. Thank you for your endless support and for being part of the Farm Lot Family. We wish good health for you, your families, and our community. Sasha Kanno Farmer / Founder |
