Farm Happenings Come to Farm Lot 59 on October 26th for our last party for the year!   Few details for the event this Saturday, please read. There is no presale for this event. There is a $5 door charge for everyone coming into the farm. Our musicians get to keep this money so if you want to chip in extra please do!    Music and food start at 5:00. Food will be served until we run out.    Suggested items to bring. Something to sit on, blankets or beach / camping chairs are perfect. Lantern or flashlight. It will be dark when you make your way back to your car. It will be cold too so bring layers to keep you cozy.   We will not have any drinks for sale. Please bring your own, and pack it out with you. We do not have recycling pick up at the farm.    We will be selling plates of delicious food for $20. Please do not bring outside food. Our menu is still evolving but I can tell you we will be using the last of the peppers, eggplant and tons of herbs and greens from the farm. Our farmer friends donated squash and pomegranates. I'm picking up pork loins this week and the Caja China roasting box will be in full effect. If you are vegetarian don't worry, we got you.    We still need someone to help ring people up for food. If you are interested in helping out please email me.    Thanks so much for the years of support for our little farm. Farm Happenings Come to Farm Lot 59 on October 26th for our last party for the year!   Our Roast events are always so much fun. Think concert in the park but on your local farm. Please bring a chair, blanket and your own drinks. $5 at the door per person goes to our wonderful musicians.    We have our women chef's in the kitchen this time. We will be roasting pork and cooking everything delicious from the farm and our sister farm Glady's Ave Urban Farm. All veggie plates are available so don't worry! Plates are $20, please no outside food allowed.    Thanks so much for the years of support for our little farm. Farm Happenings Oct 19th 8-1 Join us on this work day. We will be finishing up the valve installation. We need help moving the tubing and firing up the new main irrigation lines. Perfect work day if you are interested in learning about water flow rates, and how to install or maintain an irrigation system. Everyone is welcome to this work day.    October 26th - Farm Roast! This is our last party for the year and these Roast events are always so much fun. The Pollen Collective is going to come and play music for you. Our chef line up is growing, names and menu will be posted when we get closer. These Roast events happen twice a year. $5 per person and the door goes to the musicians and 100% of the food purchased goes back to the farm. Please bring a chair, blanket and your own drinks.    If you would like to volunteer during the Roast please reach out. We need people to manage parking, collect money for food sales, and handle the kid crafts station.
