A Call For Returning Volunteers! If you have worked with us in the past, we are asking for your help on the Farm.   When: Wednesday, August 19th from 8 AM to 11 AM Where: Farm Lot 59, 2714 California Ave. Long Beach, CA   Please park at the top and meet by the Farmstand.    Space is limited to respect social distancing, please email us at volunteer@farmlot59.org to reserve your spot. Please only RSVP if you are 100% able to attend as we are limiting the opportunity to only a few spaces.    Proper social distancing etiquette will be followed.  You must wear a face mask.  Please bring your own tools if possible, to reduce contact--pruners, loppers, weedwhackers, shovels, and rakes are all helpful. We suggest you wear a hat, work boots, sunscreen and bring water & a snack.   Hope to see you on the farm next week!   ***This invitation is for returning volunteers only, so a waiver must already be on file. Interseted in volunteering another time? Farm Box August 20th We are excited to offer a limited amount of farm boxes for pick up on August 20th. We have an abundance of produce ripe and ready to be harvested just for you! The Farm Box will include mixed summer vegetables, a mix of herbs, and a flower bouquet. Pre-sale only and pick up is at Farm Lot 59 on the farm from 4-6pm on Thursday, August 20th . When you get to the farm, please park by the farm stand and walk down the road (please let us know if you need help with accessibility). No refunds: Boxes that are not picked up will be donated. Please make sure you are able to arrive to pick up at the designated time so you can enjoy your produce. Mixed Bouquet The perfect gift for yourself or others. This market bouquet is already arranged to plop right in a vase. Or take apart and design your own. Blooms change with the season. Farmers choice. Pick Up is on the farm on Saturday, August 15th, 2020 between 9am-11am. Please park at the top gravel lot and walk down to the farm gate. There are NO REFUNDS , if you do not pick up your flowers we will donate them.
