After the talk Amanda will lead the class in a demo of making a detox powered snack.   More Info Flower Bouquet Pre-Sale   Our summer flowers are just getting started. We grow a special selection of unusual and rare blooms from seeds we collect and get from special seed growers.    Buckets of mixed stems and bouquets are available for pre-sale. Pick up is June 8th from 9-1 at the farm. The stand is closed so please come down to the farm to pick up. **URGENT REQUEST** - Contacts for Patagonia Grant Thank you for your continued support of Farm Lot 59 and urban farming.  We have a great opportunity to secure a grant from Patagonia but we need your help!   The grant funding will be used to install electricity throughout the property; improve the existing perimeter fence and install security cameras; install refrigeration; and upgrade wash stations to utilize a grey water system.  These upgrades will increase Farm Lot 59’s productivity and help us further our mission - incubating urban farming and food education from the ground up.     How you can help?  Please provide us with any contacts (name, title and email address would be very helpful) that you might have at Patagonia (retail stores or Corporate) who we can make aware of our efforts to successfully obtain funding for our farm improvements.   Thanks again for your support!!    Sasha Kanno, Farmer - Founder 2714 California Avenue, Long Beach, CA, USA Share Via: Farm Lot 59
