give a garden in december! More Kids on Farm Lot 59: Farm Lot 59 is making 2016 the Year of the Little Learner! This is the year to educate our small farmers and help them on their way to a healthy lifestyle. We need your help to get started! Together, we can raise $15,000 to build the Children's Garden.  Picture a future where all kids eat radishes as snacks and make salad for dinner. We can make this a reality by changing their food habits now! By letting kids explore, touch, taste and see where their food comes from opens up a whole unknown world of excitement and flavor.  Be the catalyst of change in Long Beach. Help us make this a reality and something that is unique to our Little Learners and our city. A hands on outdoor learning lab in the middle of a working farm! The holidays are filled with traditions, rituals and important reminders.  This time of year we feel a nudge to slow down and spend time with the people we love, be kind and generous to others, and of course--splurge a little!   We're celebrating with a Pop-Up Boutique to help us hit each one of those points.  Shop a curated line-up of OUR favorite local vendors, while enjoying delicious sips & snacks (made by yours truly).  Treat yourself to something new or find gifts for everyone on your list.  To show you how excited we really are, the first 30 people will receive a free gift from Spoon & Skillet! Dina from Long Beach Creamery is making limited and exclusive flavors using farm lot honey and produce. Special ice cream sunday with pastries from Panxa. 50% of all sales this day benefit the farm.
